Milwaukee Road Photographing Route of the Hiawathas is a collection of 400 Color Photographs of Milwaukee’s freight and passenger service through the years. The chapters are arranged geographically beginning in the mid-west and moving to the Pacific Northwest. This title features a system map plus a good mix of mainline and branch line action between the 1950s and 1980s. The Milwaukee Road operated many first-generation diesels during this time frame. Many well-known photographer’s images are presented in this all-color title.
Chapters include: Chicago, Illinois and Indiana; Iowa and Missouri; The C&M/Strurtevant; Milwaukee; Wisconsin and Michigan; Minnesota and South Dakota; Montana and Lines West; plus Amtrak.
